Marquette Game

I figured out our main issue... D'Lo has moved from the shaved/styled eye brows with on shaved streaked in his hair to a shaved design in his hair. I think he needs to go back to classic D'Lo, it will help his shot.
 
Very lucky...glad I was wrong..take this "fugly" win, hide under a rock for a few hours, then shock the Garden on Sunday. Can't wait to watch it in person with my 3 boys in great seats.
Respect Coach K, but want to see him leave NY with 999.
 
I need a vacation after watching this game. The Duke game I'm just gonna sit back and enjoy, nowhere near as important as Big East wins

Have my regular Wednesday night game so missed 1st half. Other than the 4 fouls, did Amar do anything else?
 
God, as awful as it can possibly be. We are so flawed in so many ways. Very lucky and very hard to watch.
 
And I think Jordan deserves a lot of credit in this game. Clearly his best Big East game so far this season. And the same goes for Dom, as this was also his best BE game of the season. If they play like this and DLo/PGIV have just decent shooting games, we will be tough to beat in this league.
 
The problem with putting Pointer on Carlino earlier is that Pointer was so key underneath with rebounds and blocks that Im sure Lavin didn't want a further weakened interior. So, he tried everyone else first. They did get a few easy off rebounds with Dom out of the paint but no question he shut down the main threat and we hung on.
 
Obviously needed it and got it.....barely. Nice team win in an ugly as heck game. Pointer,very big; Jordan, also big - made some very nice passes and a big 3, pretty much under control all game. Branch also with some nice stuff late. Harrison seems to be able to slide on D but the calf may be bothering him when he pushes off to shoot or plants to drive; did not go to the hole at all which is very unusual. Have to believe he is 75-80 % right now; he is a gamer though. Not even remotely pretty but a good win nonetheless.

He grabbed every rebound while he was in there. One foul was a phantom call on a rebound he grabbed. The refs just whistle him for everything
 
I liked what I saw from Branch. He gave us some good minutes. Jordan showed us why we need him to keep the season alive.

Ugly W, but they all look good in the standings.

Beat Duke on Sunday. Screw 1,000 wins. Let him do it elsewhere.

Cant put pointer on carlino earlier, he was too valuable elsewhere. And there was no problem with Carlino in the first half, but good adjustment by Lavin after the 4 threes.

Great spark by branch in second half. Jordan played great for most of the game, still had a few head-scratching decisions.

Sir Dom was incredible defensively all game and for a large portion of the game offensively, the whole team needs to eliminate these long scoring droughts where there is no movement and they launch jumpers.

They need to learn that they don't need to settle for jumpers early on the shot clock, especially on the first half of games

They are going to need to shoot lights out o have a chance on Sunday
