First conference tournament gets going today. Atlantic Sun. The 1 seeded Lipscomb is 25-6 but I don’t think they’d get an at large, but rooting for them anyway, the less bid thieves the better chance we have of getting in

One win

I thought one win would do it too. But getting bounced from BET without a win even after a X win might not work out

Again hope it's moot point

Not posting for a while if at all much anymore...some SJ fans really are shockingly petty and mean-spirited towards each other. I hope we win vs. Xavier and we see what happens from there. Go Johnnies.

Something happened on Twitter or on here?

We're not winning @ X, we're 0-5 vs these types of teams. Coming close the last 2 games but still L's

Scenarios as I see it:
1. W vs X - In (regardless of L in BET- play-in game as an 11 seed)
2. W vs X , W in BET ( just 1 since we'll be playing thursday) = 8/9 seed
3. L vs X, we'll be playing on Wednesday night and will have to get to Friday to be In. a W vs an inferior opp Wed and L the next night wont hold much weight)

Ran all the possible scenarios and there’s a very slim chance we play Wednesday even if we lose to X. Like I’m talking a 5% chance. We will play Thursday no matter what barring some crazy results in these finals big east games

The only madness I'm feeling this March is being p.o.-ed at this team's (and coaching staff's) performance over the past 10 days: three losses in four games against mediocre competition ... and probably another one this coming weekend. Totally unacceptable ... and totally maddening.

Utah state is also a projected 11 seed, same as us right now. They are currently tied with 13 seconds left against a 12-17 Colorado State team. This loss would cripple them.

I think the Mountain West conference will send two teams. Those who are on the bubble better hope that someone does not go on a miracle run to deprive Nevada or Utah State of the automatic bid.

Fresno St. could beat either team, if everything aligns for them.

Apologies if this has been posted elsewhere, but Lunardi has us in today as #11 seed playing Miss. State in Tulsa. If we were to win that game we'd likely play Texas Tech who he has as a 3 seed in second round game. Wouldn't that be fun?

That would be awesome.

We could beat Miss State. I hope it happens

Our slide from an 8/9 seed to 11 may turn out to be an unintended blessing since we would avoid the truly elite teams (i.e Duke, UVA, Gonzaga etc) until the second weekend.

Very wishful thinking given the current state of the team. Just get in at this point and anything can happen.

How often do Lunardi or Palm nail matchups? I assume their percentage of predicting the 68 teams who get in is pretty high, and maybe for seed as well. But do their actual game predictions pan out with regularity?
