LJ Figueroa

Kids going to be a star sooner than later. As a fellow Dominican couldn't be more excited to see what he can do. Represent young fella!!

David Cain was the man
His senior year - with great, unexpected impact!
We have obvious talent this year but I wonder if there’s a Cain in
The mix? How nice that would be!

From what I've seen Figueroa is a very smooth sound player. He is not the second coming of Felipe Lopez however. Mikey Dixon is also smooth and sound but he is no Shamorie Ponds. We need a dominant big to round out the talent.

Willie was the 4th best player on his team. Granted it was a great series of seasons, but no way Willie deserves to have his number retired.

Considering what came after I would retire EVERYONE from 85 team's number! Shurina, Cornegy, Bross all of them.

We're uptight and he owns adult bookstores?

Cute, except he has been to several games the last couple of seasons and he is acknowlged by the PA announcer.

LJ was being sarcastic

Retiring numbers should just be for very special players that have done special things Think standards of what players have their Number retired has gone down Soon we would not have the room to hang the numbers

Until we build that new arena. We're looking at you, Mr. Cragg.

Went to the game thinking that Ponds chances of producing in the NBA have been terribly overrated because of the NBA's reliance on the three point shot and his small stature and came away thinking the best pro prospect on this roster is Figgy.

OK but remember this was against a D2 team in an exhibition and Ponds looked pretty disinterested and had a terrible shooting night but still managed to quietly fill the stat sheet including leading the team in rebounding with 12, hit a double double 6 assists and only one turnover and 3 steals. I was really impressed with Fig too but let's see how he does during a long season and when we hit Big East and Duke and compare notes then.

Imagine what he could have done last night if he gave a rats...........

Sponsor $$ over fan information.

Next our uniforms will look like Bjorn Borg's tennis shirts in the 70s with sponsorships all over them
