Like that we're (mostly) driving to the basket to catch up here. Don't want to shoot a bunch of 3s and risk a bigger deficit.
 
The empty seats will likely fill up with Kentucky Blue for the second game when the Wildcats meet Hofstra. Kentucky fans generally travel all over to see their team play.

Some of this makes me wonder why St. John's is relegated to the opening game instead of the marquee match-up at the abysmal Barclay's Center arena.

Who the hell is this Williams guy , hitting all his free throws ,grabbing boards and scoring. :)
Every game it seems someone we had written off , as we typically do , is stepping up. Last game Amar and this game Williams. Very very nice to see. Could it be the coaching ?
Nah , forget I said that. :)
 
Has made all his free throws, hit a mid range jumper, a quick jump hook basket, and then caps it with a steal and slam. Williams is ballin right now!
 
Nice to see Darien Williams step up and show something. I would love to pull up some of the posts early on when we wondered if we could get something/anything out of Darien Williams. I don't remember a single positive response.
