First point. Why the F would anybody have watched that stupid show BEFORE all this.

Second point, the guy should have stuck by the old saying, keep quiet and let everyone assume you're a racist, homophobe, knuckle dragging moron rather than opening your mouth and removing all doubt.

Finally, re free speech issue (which only matters apparently when a dumb ass conservative says something stupid - see Martin Bashir) this dude is free to say whatever he wants but A&E pays this guy to be associated with their brand. If they don't want their brand associated with hate speech they have every right to keep him off the air.

Hopefully this could be the end of reality TV but of course it won't given how much the Kardashians have tried to do to ruin the format. You can never overestimate the stupidity of the American public.

worked this morning and heading to first of 2 parties today out here in 30 minutes. Didn't feel like driving to queens for only 1 half

Well, you had a manager (AVB) who is highly regarded in some circles but Levy ran out of patience with him. There are several problems at WHL right now: injuries, an influx of new players who have not had enough playing time together and the loss in the last few years of Van der Vaart, Modric and whatisname, oh yes, the Bale chap. That is akin to my team losing Fabregas, Nasri and RvP. Difference being we tried to replace like for like rather than bringing in a whole new XI at once and Wenger has tremendous job security. It will be tough to find a competent manager mid season before a WC.

AVB made some tactical mistakes,e.g. overplayed Townsend, griped about the home crowd, started making noises that some of the players were not his choices, messed around with Lloris concussion, etc. Reminds me of the Dallas Cowboys. Jury is out on Lamela, Chireches, Chadli. Soldado is a bust. Ade is… well, Ade. Paulinho is a winner in my book for trying to maim Suarez. Vertonghen is the real deal.

Sherwood is not the solution – but who would want to work with [strike]Jerry Jones[/strike], I mean Daniel Levy?

Patrick, I would accuse you of being responsible for my karma but the most likely culprits are Moose, SJUFan2, and Mkras99. I am pretty sure that Fordham had something to do with it, since I did spend a while trying to make sure that his karma number always ended in 666.

However, I've decided not to worry about my karma unless I get reincarnated as the Maven or something equally awful.

hahaha..very entertaining football. Back and forth, explosive counterattack...we may not win every week, but I feel like we got a little bit of our Tottenham back.

If you people are really spamming my Xmas thread with soccer (btw, not a sport), then I will have all of you banned before you can say "Manchester United."

And really, did somebody just actually refer to soccer (not a sport) as "football?" Seriously?

My Xmas wish for myself is that you people stick to the "football" forum with with this stuff.. Though we call it "soccer," suckers.

Sorry, I can't let this remark go.. what is your definition of a sport if soccer (I agree with the football part) isn't included? Golf, no sport. Auto racing, no sport. Fly fishing, no sport. Soccer, SPORT.
