Knicks

Being a sports fan is such a bipolar experience. Had that last second shot went strsight up, hit the rim and bounced away as the buzzer sounded, fans would be ecstatic and projecting a 6 game series win.

Exactly. Whatever else you want to say about Dolan he has taken a completely hands off approach to the basketball team over the past several years. My daughter works for MSG Sports and has confirmed that to me more than once.

With the three point shot and the long range accuracy of the current players that rule may not be true. The Knicks didn’t choke last night. The three point shooting of the Indiana guard won the game.After he made a couple of threes in a row if the Knicks couldn’t force him to give up the ball they would have been better off putting him on the foul line then letting him take a three point shot.
It sounds crazy but if the NBA doesn’t move the three point line further out more of the NBA players will do what the Indiana guard did last night

I'm with Bob Ryan, the 3 is awful. Never should have been instituted in either game, NBA or NCAA. But it's much worse in the NBA because they're much higher skilled.

It’s not changing. People can choose to follow college hoops only, pro hoops only or both but at this point complaining about the three point shot imho is like saying life has never been the same since they invented the automobile. We aint going back.

Of course I know that. Doesn't mean it wasn't a colossal mistake.

Yeah Jack, they're good, no doubt about that.

They're never good enough though, going back to the early 90s.

After living more then half of your life without your team winning a championship, the only thing you give a crap about is a championship, nothing else matters

Starting to doubt I'll see the knicks win it, first lets see what happens tomorrow night, probably the season.
Never seen ST. John's win it but really optimistic about this year coming up.

Most heartbreaking playoff game for me was Giants in SF on 02.
Matt Bryant hit a FG to go up 3-14 with 4:27 to go in the 3rd, game ends 39-38 SF.
Worse loss then last night because football is one game elimination.

I had a miserable sleepless night.
