Like the every other night cadence for playoffs. Allows me to watch something else with my wife on off nights. Watched Nonnas last night on Netflix. Admittedly a little on the corny side but an entertaining feel good movie that we both enjoyed.

The Knicks need to play with the same level of desperation and effort that they had in the last quarter plus of the game. Thibs also has to be comfortable with playing his bench, and not hesitate to separate KAT and Brunson from being on the floor at the same time to ensure better defensive continuity, specifically late in the game. If KAT isn't feeling it offensively, he shouldn't be on the floor when it counts.

Brandon Tierney must be off his meds because he was basically saying because Brunson and KAT have a poor plus minus when on the court together and Brunson is a defensive liability McBride should play a lot more and Brunson should be benched. Nuts.

To his defense Brunson only played something like 4 minutes last fourth quarter.

I’m not agreeing that we should bench Brunson. Just that there’s recent evidence of the Knicks playing better with him on the bench. And speaking of fouls, he needs to stay out of foul trouble!

I definitely think we’re better defensively when JB and KAT are separated, and even think JB gets a little too ball dominant at times which can throw KAT’s rhythm off. He usually has to get going early in the game to pay dividends later. I don’t think it’s a crazy idea, but also think JB needs to be playing 40mpg absent of foul trouble

I am also against this idea of benching JB, but I’ve told myself this all season in keeping a tally of how many times per game Brunson passes to KAT. It’s usually something you can count on 1 hand! They don’t play off each other at all.

I hear all the talk about Brunson & KAT not playing well together and plus minus stats, but let's face it Knicks need both of those guys to be on the court most of the time to have any chance in this series. I do agree that it would be wise to have Jalen playing off the ball more.

Yup. Another poor start with terrible three point defense and Bridges missing shots he needs to make.

We agree like 99.9% of the time but I’m a big believer in +- as an indicator not as a final stat. Brunson has problems with Indy probably more than any other team. When you break down the PG it leaves a guy like Kay exposed even more IMO
