That’s the season. Just because you have more max contract players and players you traded away 5 first round draft picks for doesn’t mean anything. They are WAY better than the Knicks in every facet and it shows.
Show Thibs the door. Don’t offer Bridges anything close to a max. Try and deal KAT while you’re at it.

You'd think the refs would realize that there's no way the league wants an OKC-Pacers final.
Wouldn’t panic. I would keep all the starters except KAT and bring in a younger coach as Thibs just refuses to adapt:
KAT is not a guy we can win with. Reminds me of both Walter Bellamy and Carmelo.

Foul difference is telling, as is the rebounding advantage for Indy. No one player is killing the Knicks (except maybe McConnell), but they have so many weapons that can make shots. KAT has
to step up, but he and Brunson have 3 fouls each.
Their bench is so much better. It's a crime the Knicks have almost zero bench.

Pacers bench better but that’s not what’s beating Knicks. Their best players are
coming up small when it matters most. That is end of story unless things change quickly

For all the talent he has KAT makes so many losing plays. The silly fouls, the ridiculous shot selection, the decision making. He will chase down a rebound he has no business getting and leave his team down a man in transition more times than I can count. Brainless out there.
Refs also sick of his constant complaining. He never gets calls
