They just beat UCLA by 39 points to improve to 12-0 this season. Ironically, their smallest margin of victory this year is 10, which came against Columbia of all teams. Big game coming up against Louisville. What are the chances they go undefeated this season?

The gm of the rockets yesterday tweeted that he likes to watch prospects play kentucky because it gives him a good look at what that prospect can do against nba teams. In other words, he is not drafting alford after yesterday. Which probably means that the knicks will get him in round two, if they didnt trade that Away yet

They are inconsistent from 3-point range. It'll bite them come tourney time.

Plus, they may suffer if a few kids start playing for draft status which I think will inevitably happen.

I remember the UNLV team with Larry Johnson very well, and they were another team that got the frequent question about whether they could compete with an NBA team. I remember the UNC team with Worthy not to mention the Big East teams of the 80s.. or the so called Fab 5 Michigan team. This Kentucky team doesn't have the singularly dominant player and I don't think we'll ever see another time where there are those "franchise" players in college hoops. 5 on 5 maybe that UNLV team takes Kentucky but from top to bottom I don't think there has ever been a team as stacked as the current Kentucky team in college basketball history. They have several guys that on another team would be lighting up those franchise type numbers but in their system they don't jump out at you. In fact pretty much every single player they have would be the star player on any other team.

I do think they will go undefeated and I think their second five would be the next best team in college hoops, maybe better considering they'd have a shorter "platoon." As awesome as they were I never felt that the UNLV team, the UNC team(s), the Fab 5 were unbeatable. This Kentucky team looks to be on a completely different level than any other team. Maybe on a completely different level of any team, ever.

Calipari's biggest problem could be getting teams to play him in the near future.

Maybe in Kentucky, but not on the road. They're to big a draw.

They aren't going to run the table IMO. They don't shoot the 3 all that well some nights like 98 said, and one night they will be off and one team will hit like 15 3 pointers and win.

@Louisville will be a good barometer on Saturday and I think it could get really ugly. They are going to destroy them in front of the in state rival home court.

After L'ville they I don't think they play another ranked team. The SEC is terrible at basetkball.

Against Harrell this might be the first time all year they do not have the best big man on the court. Louisville teams generally have the legs for uptempo ball. I say Louisville pulls off the upset.

They will enter the tournament undefeated, but not finish that way.

any college team including KY can lose a game. With a little more luck Columbia might have beaten them. A better team might have on that day. But they are the best in the Country. Play them best 4 out of 7 and they win every time.
In the tournament anything is possible including
KY winning it all. But in one game anything is possible, that is one reason college basketball can be so exciting. Even the heavy underdog can win a game. That is why st johns fans can still have hope )))

Just get to the tournament and anything can happen. If nothing else, there's no way our Harrison is afraid of their Harrisons. Or anyone else on their roster.

Do I think Kentucky will run the table? Probably not. At some point they will have an off night or their opponent will play the game of their lives.

Would it surprise me if they did run the table? Absolutely not.

This Kentucky team is just too big, and just too good. And remember, while they are blowing everyone out right now, they are still trying to develop a solid 'rotation'. They go 10 deep, with the 2nd five being just as good as the first five.

If we were to play them in the tournament, they would beat us by 25-30pts easily. Not trying to sound too negative.....that's just the reality of it.
