Facey's coach commented to a writer that they were not told per se, but that the indication was given that Ollie would be UConn's next head coach.

When I read about the UConn prez meeting with Kentan, I scratched my head. I don't know how much weight that holds. Most recruits (I would think) could not care less about who the school's prez is.

But it seems like Facey was dead set on attending UConn even prior to his visit.

I was thinking more interms of, "yes, you will be able to play post season hoops when you get to UCONN since the post season sanctions will only be for next season."
