Keeping Up With Old Friends Thread

On this episode I’m joined by Sean Evans, a big man for St. John’s from 2007-2011 who was perhaps a bit ahead of his time. He was a long time starter until his senior year where he almost transferred when coach Norm Roberts was let go. But thanks to his teammates and assistant coach Mike Dunlap, he stuck it out and helped get the Johnnies to the NCAA Tournament.

We discuss his successful overseas career which he’s going into year 13, being in the middle of a war, playing with DJ Kennedy and D’Angelo Harrison and his new venture as an advisor for Johnnies Collective, a new NIL collective trying to help St. John’s basketball. All that and more on episode 59

Outstanding!!

You certainly have become a “must listen to” podcast. Great interview!!

Sean Evans is a good guy. Right after SJU he was playing in the G league in Long Beach CA and got me tickets to see him play.
We talked about the game he had like 35 pts 22 rebs and he thought he was going to get the call up...he's a great guy, learned and matured a lot. One of my favorite things about talking to some of the guys, especially those that are older is how much they've reflected and gained after having some "childish" moments like we all have had in those 18-21 years
