Tickets are ridiculous. Hoping day of they massively drop.

Yeah, my season ticket and college buddy, who comes on here once every 10 years to troll me, is going Friday. He is sure it's going to be a mess with Trump showing up. Then, the guy he bought tickets with got a freebie and sold his. But he's a golf nut and a member at garden city.He can afford it.

Yeah, i heard that also. I was there but left early because practice rounds for a 24 player tournament is not optimal. I'm volunteering anyway for the actual days, Friday-Sunday. Won't go tomorrow due to the skies apparently opening up.
Friday is going to be like the first US Open there. Mudfight !

All the good SJU vibes, which are hard to ignore, coming from different people, places, and directions is quite the contrast from our normal course reality.

I cannot ever remember anything like this for the university. We are, well, for a lack of a better term, very cool.

My daughter who is junior in high school has SJU as her top choice. Never thought that was a possibility.

And she brings up how the perception of other kids of similar ages view the school highly and as a solid college option.

The university is in uncharted waters. If they manage and cultivate this positive publicity correctly, its future will be special. I find it exciting to watch evolve.

Sports are a giant part of the college experience. The SUNY system did not account for this at all. St. John’s has a real chance to capitalize on this. It takes just 4-5 years of winning to build a rabid student base. New Yorkers have serious FOMO and want to be a part of something big.
