Kadary

Sim's stroke is one of the most improved things about this year... I want him to shoot any Open 3 he has.... early in the shot clock, whatever, an "open" shot by him is one of our best weapons now.

He is taking over my assigned shooter role i had Dunlap penciled in for.... we are getting a two for 1 with Sim now- great development.
Nice looking shot. It was last year not sure why people seem surprised.

I think when he was with SH he was The Man and this helped him in his confidence, especially shooting free throws. It is probably a little different watching these guys fly up and down the court, while he tries to catch up. He will gave his moments when the game comes down to a few possessions and the shot clock is winding down.

BE season is here. He'll play better and more assertive. Some of these games you could see that he could have easily beat his man or just straight beat him up in the post and wasn't. Pitino will make him prove himself scoring this time of year. Its go time

Loose handle creates loose balls. Just like an errant pass, a steal is credited.
In NCAA basketball, a steal is when a defensive player legally takes the ball away from the opposing team:
  • By intercepting a pass
  • By deflecting and controlling the ball away from an opponent
  • By causing the opponent to turn the ball over
With all due respect - gathering a loose ball is definitely not a steal.

I was alluding to when Kadary strips the player he is defending and then bending down to corral a semi-loose ball. 😎

I’m a huge Kadary fan, but he gives it the old man wide leg half effort here.

The kid is who he is. He’s going to stand up tall with bis knees slightly bent. If he has to get low he’s going to kick those feet as far apart as he can.

He's smart, why dive on the floor for the ball when you can pick it up in a way that still leaves you the option of scoring?

Every aspect of his game is old man game, and I am here for it.

As a fellow old man I concur, on all points. Welcome to the club Kadary!
Yeah he goes after loose balls like old guy picking up his putt on last hole.
Not sure why so many on this board choosing to ignore that or are ok with it. Never saw Mullin, Berry, Jackson , Sealy or Artest do that. Again no one is saying he has to be one of those dopey floor slapping Duke point guards, but cmon.
