June NBPA Top 100 Camp

DeAnte Mitchell

Mike Anderson once again checking out 2020 PG AJ Hoggard. Assistant coach TJ Cleveland watching Andre Curbelo, RJ Davis & Matthew Murrell

Hassan Diarra absolutely killing it this morning on both ends of the floor. Very active defensively, creating for his teammates & himself. St. John’s, Michigan, Northwestern, Ole Miss, DePaul, Michigan State & more in attendance.

Guessing TJC is impressed with Diarra. As many have said, any of Curbelo, Diarra, Hoggard would be cause to celebrate in the Year of the PG.

That’s what’s nice about Rutherford. We would have 2 pgs this year. Rutherford will be gone after a year leaving the door open for us to get one of the class of 20 pgs.

Conspicuously quiet on the front with Rutherford. Any word what’s happening there? Would feel better if we had an experienced grad pg locked up for the season.

Plus, apparently, he's scheduling other college visits.
Seems less than a 'sure' thing to me, but in the words of the great Sgt. Schultz: "I know nothing"...and I do know CMA has cards to play...reminds me of ol' Bret Maverick.
Just having fun.

Per Rivals....

GUARDS WITH NEW YORK TIES IMPRESS

Three rising senior guards with ties to the state of New York made a move in the updated Rivals150 last week and backed up their rise with stellar performances in Virginia. A.J. Hoggard (who is from Pennsyvania but plays his summer ball with the New York based PSA Cardinals) displayed tremendous passing and playmaking abilities at the point of attack. Hassan Diarra (an NYC kid who also plays for PSA) is a complete warrior that now leads a national recruitment. Finally, R.J. Davis is a shot-making standout that reeled in offers from UCLA and Vanderbilt as his stock continues to rise. All three left their mark and should see it pay off by the bevy of options they’ll have to choose from when it comes to making their college decisions.
