June NBPA Top 100 Camp

Great snapshot piece of 3 key PG prospects. Thanks Paultz.
Seems like Curbelo continues to impress, Davis very skilled, and Diarra sounds like he battles hard.
Plus, CMA's remark to AJ Hoggard is interesting.
I'd be thrilled with any of these guys.
We should be so lucky.

Forget Davis imo. Georgetown is way ahead of SJU.

The Rivals pieces I posted were tweeted by DeAnte Mitchell without pay wall surprisingly.

Right, I recall you saying that a bit ago.
Was just recapping DeAnte Mitchell's profiles.
But it is great the Staff seems very involved with Curbelo, Diarra, and Hoggard.
2020 seems he year of the PG, doesn't it?

St. John’s assistant coach Steve DeMeo has arrived & is on court 2 for 2020 Kadary Richmond/Zed Key.

Like the year with Omar Cook, Taliek Brown and Andre Barrett, although that class was special.

It's obvious this means 'nothing' that the Staff is fully engaged in these marquee recruiting events...but wait, yeah it means we're trying to be in the mix for these top kids, and 'yeah' that does mean 'something'.
Showing up shows these kids, you're competing for them against some elite programs, that you're got it together, and you're 'there'.
Visibility is a good thing.
Nice to see.

Not working for me. Oh well.

St. John’s HC Mike Anderson & assistant Van Macon now watching 2021 shooting guard Terrence Clarke, 2020 point guard Hassan Diarra & 2020 forward Jaemyn Brakefield #sjubb.

Love all the tweets about our staff at all of these sessions. Them being active and present on the recruiting trail doesn’t go unnoticed. Our prior staffs absence at recruiting events, local gyms etc didn’t go unnoticed either, by potential players, fans, other coaching staffs etc.

We have been front and center for these kids and it’s really refreshing to see a staff working in concert to recruit. We will land our share and the ones we lose won’t be for lack of effort which is all we can ask for.

“They are one of the recent schools to offer me,” Brakefield said. “I had a former teammate going there, [Jonathan] McGriff--we have a great relationship and we played well together.
