June/July Recruiting

I also think anyone who derails this thread and turns into into Maher and his favorite food should also be sent to Rookie forum.

Absolutely. Tremendous to see all our coaches out there hitting all the recruiting trail. Hard work pays off. We will land our share.

He might have already done more recruiting than the past 6.5 years combined.

Love Dion, great singer, re-invented himself with several very impressive, real deal blues records. Also a very good guitar player.

Really does seem odd to cut back days when kids are not in school.

Doesn't solve or improve the issue they were tasked with.

First July evaluation period starts Thursday.
Nike - Peach Jam/PIT (So. Carolina)
Adidas - Alabama
Atlanta - Under Armour + JUCO showcase[/quote]

In Atlanta visiting our son before heading to Florida. Get in our hotel elevator 11:45 last night, and run into a Southern Illinois coach. Mentioned I was a big St. John's fan, and he says St. John's very visible at the UA camp. Not sure who is here, maybe TJ, but nonetheless, great to hear and see these coaches all over the place.

Three SJU targets at Peach Jam;

Article notes Springs had solid Peach Jam especially rebounding, showed great quickness.

Hassan Diarra didn't shoot well, but passed nicely & defended great and penetrated well.

Franck Kepnang 2021 player looks like one of the best defensive bigs in the country He times blocks well with great length and rebounds well.

I believe it is an attempt to cut down the influence and access of the guys that have their ears during the times they are not in school, but I could be wrong.

I will always remember the first record album
I bought
Dion DiMuccie
Dion in a green
plaid shirt
Leaning on a white picket ( not Wilson ) fence
Album entitled
RUNAROUND SUE
And still much later
Dion sang
Abraham, Martin and John-

Has anybody here seen my old friend Bobby,
Can you tell me where he's gone?
I thought I saw him walkin' up over the hill
With Abraham, Martin and John.

For the very younger posters that’s
Abraham Lincoln
Martin Luther King
John F. Kennedy
and
Bobby Kennedy

Blessings to all
