June/July Recruiting

Great first few hours of college coaches pre registration for the NJISAA mid Atlantic shootout @ Blair Academy this weekend. Florida, Richmond,St Johns, Georgia, Depaul & many others

Our biggest needs by far are a legit big man and a pure shooter Mussini type. I fear we still don't have the size to match up against most teams and we don't have any 3 pt specialists. Obviously staff just started so let's see if they can eventually fill these needs. Next years team will have to drive, drive, drive because if either Heron or Fig are not knocking down 3's consistently, the opponents will focus on defending the hotter hand. If both are cold it can get ugly fast. Hope these guys realize this. If you miss a 3, usually the defense rebounds and you lost a chance for points. If you miss a layup at least you will likely be fouled and have a chance for 2. Even if you don't make them it still makes fouls add up for the opponent. Must go inside a lot more and we will have help with Steere, Sear, etc.
