Yakwe attacked anything that came near the rim (offensively and defensively) in the first half.

If we're able to snag Rowan and Yakwe, that would mean 9 of the 12 players on next year's team would be Mullin recruits. Throw in Owens, and that would be 10 new players that Mullin & Co. have signed.

Think about that for a second. Potentially 10 new players. Talk about hustle.

That would be a quick rebuild. If everyone qualifies we would be deep, talented and competitive. I

It is absolutely amazing how hard this staff has worked. Incredible!

Can't knock them for their effort for sure. We'll see if there will be light at the end of the tunnel in the near future though!
 
Staff is killing it out there. Developing balanced classes, and working til the start of classes to nail the 15' class as well as 16-18' classes. Nothing short of miraculous to this point in time.

Our roster was decimated and we lost our only 2 high level players left in obekpa and Jordan. Enter Mullin and staff and we almost have a full roster in 6 months and may be landing our second top 50 player soon, not including the 3-4 star international kids we are bringing in, excellent juco's and senior transfers.

Rebuild for sure, but we are way ahead of the game with respect to rebuilding... We have a bunch of nice talent here.

Agreed on all your points. What they've done in such a short period has been phenomenal and bringing in transfers to balance out the roster has been huge. I personally was not looking forward to much this year but am definitely more excited that we get to see the young players develop and hopefully compete at a high level sooner rather than later.

If we add Maverick, one thing that will keep us in a ton of games is our shooting. We'd have like 5 or more players who have shot better than 37% from 3 thus far in their careers. Gonna be an intriguing year for sure, and I don't think we are gonna get run out of the gym the way some do. This team inherently is comprised of much more skilled players than many prior teams. Hope we can land Rowan, maybe even Yakwe to hit it out of the park.
 
Additionally getting Maverick is a recruiting statement relative to what this staff can & will accomplish. Getting in late on Rowan & sealing deal is a head turner & momentum builder. It is not the end of the world if we don't get him, but a real plus if we do.

What's more amazing is we are short 2 staff members. But even a cynic has to acknowledge Mullin, Slice and Matt are a formidable trio.
