The Wood commitment and the focus on adding multiple bigs means this ship has sailed. I truly think if Turner was serious and staff felt secure he would be here and not Wood. But the fact he never made it here and the reason why leads to Wood being our guy.

Seems like Larry Brown is not afraid of taking a risk with Mr Turner

 I don't think Larry Brown is going to have much of a care in the world about player issues while at SMU. They are going to have to watch him closely. He's at least bringing a buzz to the program which is good. They'll have to replace him in the not too distant future with a coach that really wants to coach in college.

It is not really Brown that is taking a risk-after all he is adding a talented player. It is the University that is taking a risk by bringing an alleged drunk driver to campus and god forbid he hurts or kills someone if he drives impaired.
