Jordan Sighting

So he never had intentions of staying and didn't take his finals. I'm glad this one is over with.

Jordan's unpreparedness for the rigors of a college educations has made his climb to professional basketball immeasurably steeper. He is so far from being a complete, refined player, that a pro career is way on the horizon, if it isn't a mirage. Wish him well, though, and hope he can earn a decent living somewhere playing ball.

lets put you in his situation and make you face that adversity he's dealt with and then have some jerk call you a mess because you're 21 years old and the deck that was stacked against you KO'd you a few times. He will get his act together IMO.

I really respect your post. Those of us who had the benefit of a nuclear family, some wisdom imparted, some hugs, and some stern discipline when that was called for don't always realize the impact that had on our own development as people. Good job.
 
I wish RySheed the very best. He's one hell of a basketball player who basically just needs guidance at this point in his life.

IMO, he should take a page out of Harrison's book and reach out to John Lucas.

Thanks for sharing, I had been wondering what he was up to. To me, it's just a very sad situation. I can't remember many stories of kids who have been receiving such bad advice. How could you be totally unprepared and not have time to enter the NBA Draft, and then have no backup plan. Just very sad.

I read somewhere the other day that he may be invited to the Lakers camp
They don't have a full complement of players yet
Several names, including D'Angelo's, were mentioned as possibilities

I read today that DJ Kennedy was a possibility to be invited to Lakers camp. I would think he has a real shot to make it.

I'm assuming that this negatively impacts our APR. does anyone know for sure?
If yes, then it is a selfish act to just walk out of school like that

I'm worried about our APR.
Unless we have some magicians on payroll.
 
I really never paid much attention to APR. How long would a penalty be for? Does it kick in immediately? If very few here are expecting the tournament, I guess a ban doesn't affect us?
