Johnnies Tidbits

Early Bracket forecasting is like predicting the Weather..  it’s difficult to predict our Season when
there are so many new pieces .  Earlington , Williams , Roberts  all played 2 seasons under CMA and his system Caraher played 1 and 1/ 2 seasons .   Here’s a question , who starts this year in the first few games ,  besides Champ and Posh ?  Do we start 2 newcomers or 3 , if Wusu joins Julian and Posh ?

Easy for coach, start the best ,and adj from there. We have a lot of talent on this team, and any one could start.Although ,we all know who starts is really not important.

Given how much Wusu played last year, in what seemed to be critical parts of the game- signifying the trust Coach has in him.... tough not to see him beginning the year as a Starter.

My guess would be Posh/Wusu/Champ/Wheeler/Soriano.... with Posh and Champ being the only two touching 30 mpg... leaving 140 mins across 8/9 guys?

posh, Smith, Champ, Wheeler and Soriano start.
posh plays so hard and hopefully he won’t have to play more than 28 minutes a game and others can give him a well deserved rest. In a perfect world I don’t want champ to play more than 28 minutes a game but we don’t live in a perfect world. Our depth is crazy this season and it will be very interesting to see who gets burn with many different combinations possible.

Unless Wusu has become a knockdown 3 point shooter, I do not see him in the starting lineup.  I actually think the kid from Hofstra has a great chance to be the starting SG.
