Probably only winner will go…not an especially strong year for BE baseball. 3 weeks ago we were still in as one of the last at large.

A couple of bad mid week loses to local teams didnKt help and according to one of the announcers on ESPN+ during one of the GTown games on site had us as the first team out while the others did not list us at all.

It’s too bad Florida did not live up to its preseason billing. Our season opening win at #2 Florida could have gone a long way.

And we only played that one game as the other two were rained out.

I was hoping for Xavier but revenge for losing two out of three last week would be nice.

Kudos to Gtown. They have actually invested in their baseball program with the hiring of there present coach a couple of years ago, increasing the budget which includes fully funding the maximum allowed scholarships for baseball (11.7 which can be divided among 27 players each receiving at least 25%) when they use to fund 2.
