 Fantastic to have Jakarr back. He has always been part of this family. He knows it. He'll be another pro in Lavin's stable in a few. I think this will go a long way toward possibly convincing Moe to come back. Sampson can play the 4 next to Moe and GG at center. Add another big guy whether it be Obekpa, Lane or somebody else and Morris and I think we can make a Final 4 run next year.

Ambien? It's midnight and I'm breaking out the Champagne that I was saving for an upcoming "big" birthday. This is without question the best news I've heard in a long time. (Is it too good to be true? Will we get an actual statement from Sampson himself before my Champagne bubbles go flat?) Here's hoping there's more great news to follow.

By the way, folks.... We beat out one of the blue-blood schools (Kansas) for Sampson's services. That speaks volumes, if you ask me.

Lavin recruits like D'Angelo plays... We went from no recruiting class and the sky falling to Two Top 50 kids in Branch and Sampson already on board, Balamou and still counting.

 It is not too late for Ricardo Gathers to change his mind and decommit from Baylor and join Coach Lavin's St.John's team in New York City.
