Is an SJU season ticket worth it?

Am not renewing

Wow.
Sign of the apocalypse?

Ha. No, just fatigue from "Hammer to Crock" disease. Hopefully it passes by next season. :)
I am in the same boat. Why pay top dollar for all the games when bad weather, illness, or family obligations make me miss about 5 games per year and you can get better deals on secondary market. Not to mention if things turn around you can probably jump back in and get a better season ticket because if even board members are not renewing you can bet there are many others that won't be renewing. It's a shame because as a friend of mine says the biggest catholic university in the country located in NYC should have better basketball.

Yeah a lot of times when I cant go I find out last minute. Hopefully they dont charge a transfer fee because I would love to give them away to fans who need them on the message boards if I cant use them.

I hope they don't allow student $99 passes to do the same, which would facilitate selling them on stubhub to opposing fans at a profit. Student tickets should be transferable only to an SJU student. There are few enough student season tickets to create a mechanism to only allow students to use them. Other schools have these mechanisms in place

They should just give out a card with your seat location and a barcode like the Jets did for season ticket holders. It would make student tickets 100% nontransferrable unless the person were to give up their entire card.

Of course that would definitely apply if it was 40 years ago. ;)

I know Boston College has something like you describe - a Gold Card that gets you into all sports. I don't think it's reserved seating though, but for $200 covers basketball, football (big draw), hockey (big draw), and all other sports.
