 Iona misses two shots on two trips from six inches and surrenders a 25 point lead.

This Iona/BYU game actually has me chuckling over on this end.
 
this could be the most disgusting game I've ever witnessed considering Iona scored 55 points or something like that in the 1st half 
 
 56 points in 16 minutes for a 25 point lead,
And 16 points in the last 24 minutes
The evil Iona twin showed up and that was all she wrote

I thought they were going for 70 in the first half, they had 55 with 4:30 left in the first half. Crazy!
 
I have never seen anything quite like that.

Iona looked like the Heat for the first 15 minutes and then like a Norm-coached STJ team the last 25.  
 
I woke up and can't believe they lost-- total meltdown? They go cold, or just turned the ball over all 2nd half???

Combination of things, they went cold and couldn't set up the press, a couple turnovers late and they couldn't figure out the BYU zone. Also, BYU started to make shots.

What a shame, to have one on the worst meltdowns it has to be a combination of all mentioned above

They could have stood at half cout 35 seconds and handed ball to refs every time had better chance... wow that was ugly.. 2nd half all time meltdown could not play vs the zone and they got away from their man to man ....they made that kid look like larry bird   :nervous:

They did what you did-went to sleep but not before choking first.
 
 Wow! I can't believe they lost. I last checked in and they were up like 22. I think Hartsock on had like 8 at that point.

What a collapse. I am shocked because of the penetration they can get from Momo and Machado. I'm mean a zone can slow that down for sure, but ball reversal and screening behind it more than loosens it up.

I'd figure a kid like Momo would single-handedly prevent a run like that. I have so much respect for Cluess...I think he's an exceptional coach after watching what he did at Suffolk without a kid over 6'4. Just shocked.

Momo was nowhere to be found during the 2nd half. I like Cluess but will interesting to see how he does without Machado and Glover. Don't know what kind of recruiting class they have coming in next year.
