Hofstra for his senior year. But more interesting, he coached at St. Mary's for about 10 years and sent dozens of players to college ball like Danny green.. Anyone recall if any SM player ever attended St. John's while he was coach there?

He did not... He only sent one player to a BCS school in his tenure... Danny Green to UNC... He did send a lot of players to mid majors... at least 4 to Monmouth
 
 He may not be a st johns alum but his brothers played for st johns as well and you have to associate the name with st johns.
 
Also glad we wont have to hear fat @#$% Francessa slobbering over Iona like they were a 72 ounce porter house steak on his plate. 
 
Glad to see them bounced and headed to the NIT. Won't be hearing from the Iona clowns anytime soon. :cheer:

LOL I saw the score on the CBS crawl while catching a bit of the Ohio State/Michigan State game, and chuckled.

 Iona is #1 in country in points per game, assists per game, and shooting percentage (over 50%)

Too bad they will not make NCAA; would have been a scary opening round opponent for someone.

Clues is a great coach and we would be fortunate to have him.

How great is he really given his team couldn't defend the hot dog guy and got dominated on the boards and gave up 60% shooting to a mediocre fairfield team. Not ready to write him off as a coach bit this tarnished his rep and not will fall back to middle of the pack
