Incarnate Word, Fri. Dec. 18, 7pm, FS1 & 970 AM

This team has showed that it can be beat by anyone. I take no game for granted and am confident that the staff has the same view. We will be prepared, and let's hope we execute half as well as we did against Cuse.

I totally disagree with your first sentence. Maybe in prior years, but not so far this year.

How can you disagree with that sentence? It's factual

Not for this year's team and coaching staff.

We got blown out by a D2 team and got blown out by fordham.

No game on our schedule is a gimme

Exhibition game and Fordham is pretty good this year.

What if we were playing Our Lady of the Blind? Incarnate Word is the next best thing.

what if we played a team that was one spot behind us in RPI 116 and we weren't even remotely competitive with them ?

Syracuse was great game and hopefully we can steal a couple of other wins but it's going to be a long season still which just is what it is.

Hopefully we go 2-0 this weekend but we could just as easily go 1-1

Hopefully this isn't a trap game. We should beat them by double digits, but they're going to view us as their one game against a high major that's winnable. If they press us the whole game and shoot well it may get interesting. Hopefully we play inside out against a smaller team instead of passing around the perimeter and chucking threes (or going one on one which doesn't play to our strengths at all). A big reason we shot so well against Cuse was the ball going in to Sima/Yakwe/Jones and those guys kicking it back out. Give them a chance to use their size advantage first and if they get doubled trust them to kick it out to Mussini/Johnson/etc. I know it's a little different against the SU zone but I think the principle still holds true. In the end though, after seeing how well prepared this team was last weekend, I'm way more confident in the staff's ability to game plan. I say we win by 10-15! I agree with Paultzman above the NJIT makes me a bit more concerned (although I think we win that too).

I think we win both easily, but I have been wrong before.

I think we win both too but I certainly wouldn't trust my betting skills because I would have bet the ranch that we would have lost to Syracuse :)

I have 2 tickets available if anyone wants to take them. Either reply in this thread or pm me.
