Mike Rice was eating pizza before the game with John Lucas. Cant confirm if it was a case of the humboldt munchies.

Same starting lineup as the other day. We are up a lot. The other team isn't that good. Branch has looked better I thought. We have looked pretty quick tonight

If he doesn't, we sure have more guys that can fill the role. Gift with 21 pts already in his stead. Sanchez and pointer plays well, hooper and Marco getting time etc.

We need Sampson in a big way this year; need him to be good from the start and not take six weeks for him to find himself. We'll need his athleticism against Wisconsin and Syracuse. He needs to get on the same page as everyone else and make good decisions. If Sampson is in, then we have a good shot. I think we all feel pretty confident about what Jordan, Harrison and Sanchez and Pointer are bringing to the table. Funny to say, but Sampson might be the biggest early season wild card for us.

Funny to say, but Sampson might be the biggest early season wild card for us.

You make a good point.

IMO, he has to play smarter on the offensive end. He takes bad shots and seem to rarely pass the ball.

I know he'll be effective for us, and I'm certainly glad we have him. He just has to be more sound.

It's weird because like Tarik just said when Marco shoots the ball looks like it's going in. It's so close each time but it's all metal

I remember his shot looking flat. Hoopers has a nice arc and like MJ said Hooper gets it off so quick.
