Homeland And All Things Maher

The much anticipated return of Beverly Hills 90210 tonight on fox. Used to have big crush on Jennie Garth

New 10 part show on HBO called our boys about the 3 israeli kids who got killed then the palestinian kid who got killed and then the subsequent start of the war into Gaza. 2 episodes so far all subtitles. Episode 1 slow but definitely starts getting interesting episode 2

Heading up to NYC tomorrow for a few days to see my daughters and getting to U.S. Open Friday afternoon. My wife and her sister arranged for us to meet up at Hudson Yards Saturday during the day; I suspect it's mainly a huge shopping mall, but as I'm getting a pass to meet up with some very old friends at Connolly's Friday night, I'll have to go along.
Does anyone have a recommendation on a good place to grab lunch in Hudson Yards?

At Hudson Yards the Vessel is actually very cool to walk around. The mall overpriced. Went to Milos and costa arm and a leg. There was definitely a wine bar in there I think on that floor where you could go and have some good views I just dont remember the name

We (my wife and middle daughter) are in Section 313 Row H (way up there). Let me know if you go; would definitely meet up for a pale ale which probably costs even more than at MSG!

If I can get out of work I'll look at the matchups and let you which I'd definitely be in Ashe for. If you haven't been to the open before check out the other Courts to. Love Armstrong and Grandstand and 17 are great too. Saw that 7 foot tall American upset the italian guy on 17 monday. he serves so freaking fast

We will be in Ashe except when we take a food/drink break unless a match is really one sided. There are only two matches in Ashe and my wife is not a big fan of walking around. Also, by the time it gets to the third round there are not as many good singles matches on the other courts besides Armstrong and Ashe.

Succession is officially now my favorite show on TV. Tonights episode was best yet IMO and the scene with Tom and Greg in the safe room absolutely had me crying laughing

Just got back from taking my wife to Ciel Bistro in Quebec for our 31st anniversary. It is a revolving restaurant on the 27th floor of a hotel with a spectacular view of the city. Unlike most restaurants with great views, the food is as good as the view. My wife had arctic char and I had roasted venison and both were delicious. Highly recommend it for anyone in Quebec for a special vacation. People were so nice and gave us a free dessert for the occasion. Love the city!

"You don't really hear much about syphilis these days. Very much the MySpace of STDs."

I remember Matthew Macfadyen from the British program MI-5. Quite a different role.
By the way, MI-5 is great.

It’s Lobster Roll night on The Flay List! Tune in to find out where Sophie Flay and I go in NYC for our favorites... Food Network at 10:30pm (after a new Beat Bobby Flay which starts at 10). https://www.facebook.com/chefbobbyflay/videos/2492515954168205/
Damn I missed the episode but if my googling ability is right one of their picks was red hook lobster pound ( mjmaherjr's favorite ) and Eds Lobster Bar which is also excellent.

I’ll definitely be trying and giving a review
Since I am new and there are quite a few posts about MJM's love of Lobster Rolls, I wonder if you have visited the Red Hook Lobster Pound in Brooklyn which has great Lobster including 5 different rolls. And if you also like key lime pie, they have Steve's Key Lime Pie also made in Red Hook
