HOLY CROSS, Sat., Nov. 25, 7p, FS-2

Great to meet our very own Amase tonight along with long time super fan Cole who the redmen guys that went to our UCLA party Lavins first year out west will remember. ( both great guys )

Thanks for ending this game early so I could bolt with 4 minutes left.

Luis is silky smooth. I'm not comparing them at all but in the smoothness factor specifically last time I saw a St Johns player that smooth I think might have been Malik Sealy ( again I'm not comparing them other than the silky smoothness )

Biggest take away from this game was play of RJ Luis in his first game back. 14 points in 15 minutes in dominating form. And he also had 3 steals and 4 rebounds.
And stands out from the rest of the guys just when walking on the court. All the tools and athletic gifts of a high major wing. I’ve got a new favorite player and I fear it’s not close!

Great to finally meet the Maher of the sju fan base! The elitest vibe surely doesn’t transfer over in person 😂

Highly enjoyable night at the arena. Everyone played well and we are definitely getting much better.

It probably got lost by most everybody, but Cruz Davis was terrific during his five minutes on the court. He made several great hustle plays, was terrific on defense and all of his on court decisions were spot on. He is definitely a player and I am sure he will help us quite a bit at some point during his SJU tenure.

I missed the game I was out all night. But is this right?

SJU trailed at one point 18-10.

Therefore from that point on they outscored HC 81-27? Is that right?
Yes.

We were a bit sloppy in the beginning, and Holy Cross had their 5 or 6 minute hot streak early. If they do that in the middle of the game, you would have barely noticed it.

Soriano could have had 50 points against this team, had Pitino let him.

I was taken aback at how cool and confident he looked like this game was just another day for him and that he can turn it up a notch further. His body language was that he was the team captain. Can’t wait to see more of him against better competition.
