A lot of the preseason prognosticators believe that this is the worst team we will be playing this season. I hope so. After these last 4 games, we can use an opponent like this.

They beat Georgetown, but that probably says more about the Hoyas than it does about Holy Cross.

They already have one win against a Big East team this season as they beat Georgetown by 1 last Saturday. They are 1-3 since then with losses to Sacred Heart, Winthrop, and Elon and a win over IUPUI.

6-4 wing Joe Octave is their best player but they are very small up front. Joel should eat them up..

Expecting to be about 3 TD favs

Will be tough seeing us stomp on my Alma Mater - but i want a 30+pt victory with RJ getting atleast 15 mins lol.

They had a couple good years when i was there- Molloy alum Kevin Hamilton was a Patriot League POY and they made the dance with Keith Simmons and Torrey Thomas. They had a lot of good years under Ralph Willard (before he left to.... you guessed it- Lville with Rick lol)

In the book Miracles of the Hardwood about the prominence of Catholic colleges and universities during the early years of college BB, St. John's is mentioned often, but so is Holy Cross.

Smallest enrollment institution to ever win a major NCAA Championship in a major D 1 sport..with Cousy.

As the old timers on this site recall Holy Cross had a proud mens basketball program up through the the 1980s.

Holy Cross was invited to join the Big East Conference but declined.
