You seem mad I call people out on their BS and that bothers you. I just asked why would Holy cross be on a SJU site and your previous pique with me was triggered.
But you in case you were wondering since you like to be speculative without any facts. Out of my 300 post 264 were/are considered positive reviews of the team and or University, Including a couple that praises Norean Sharpe, Dean Simmons, and Bobby G. Also, I’ve posted great Praises on our alumnus from J.Cole to William Janetschatck. Again, speculating without facts isn’t a good way to debate someone.

Because it relates to sports, Holy Cross is a Catholic University like SJU, it is not in redmen talk the topic was posted in the Players Lounge, and I could continue but I wont. In the future if you don't like I topic I suggest you pass over it, don't read it, just ignore it instead of calling a poster out. In this case you called out perhaps the most respected poster on the Site, JSJ. If you are really offended send a moderator a pm, we always try to respond.
Lastly, if and when topics are posted in an inappropriate or incorrect forum they will usually be moved by a moderator to the correct forum.
Please give us a chance to do our volunteer job.

Personally I don't mind anyone posting about what they find interesting - much less JSJ, about whom even I cannot be bothered to find anything negative to say and there are no statistics available relative to what percentage of my posts are/ were considered positive or negative. In this case the parallels between Holy Cross - a catholic institution questioning the propriety of its mascot - and SJU - which jettisoned its mascot based on impropriety - are evident to all but the very very very stupid.
Holy Cross also was invited to join the original BE, but declined.... Regarding JSJ , he was responsible for the Lapchick statue, donated a lot of money and worked very hard on the project. Furthermore, he often posts interesting articles in the non bb threads which many, including myself enjoy reading.. If Fun can’t find anything negative to say about him, that speaks volumes about his character.

"The Crusader name is an undeniable part of Holy Cross' history," the college said in last week's announcement, adding: "At the same time, we acknowledge our responsibility to thoughtfully examine the sensitivities and implications this name may bear in light of the Crusades."
So it took a thousand years and 8 muslim students at The College of the Holy Cross to examine the "implications" of the name in light of the Crusades that happened 1500 years ago?
The irony is that this hogwash is being put under the microscope by the Jesuits whose order was founded by Ignatius who had a military background, and whose founding document declared that the society was founded for "whoever desires to serve as a soldier of God to strive especially for the defence and propagation of the faith and for the progress of souls in Christian life and doctrine." Jesuits are thus sometimes referred to colloquially as "God's soldiers"
At the College of the Holy Cross they can deny their history but when you put lipstick on a Jesuit in the end he is still a Jesuit.

While I was on double secret probation I had the time to do such an analysis. That data showed that based upon responses to your posts 90 percent of your posts were considered negative. Of that number, a poll showed that 90 % of those fans also visited Big East Boards within 24 hours of a St. John's game. I, of course, find you to be too serious and lacking sarcasm and would [strike]never[/strike] be accused of the wrongful appropriation your style on this forum should you be banned or choose to stop posting here.

Let's see, Mulledy had ties to slavery so consider removing his name. My gps would go haywire if all the Jefferson and Washington streets were removed, not to mention changing names of cities, states, universities because of ties to slavery. William Jefferson Clinton should consider a name change as shouls George Washington Carver..
The NCAA and NBA is renaming our game basketspheres so not to offend those without balls.
Batman will heretofore not be called the caped crusader.
I'm more concerned with Holy Cross' school color as purple, an obvious subliminal message that it's a gay school.
