Holiday Festival

Hardy’s senior year was amazing. Wish he played more his junior year. Robert has no clue how to use the talent on that roster.

IMO Booth was a real good floor general. Hardy was a scorer.

No knock on boothe. Tough a nails undersized fire hydrant . Strong as a bull. I had thus suspicion that norm looked at boothe as a young version of himself. Norm had thus fantasy that he was better than Anthony mason except for size and lack of opportunity. So biased that he couldn't see hardy as a game changer and stuck with boothe


Someone promote thus guy to the bigs.

Roberts had a tournament team, just couldn't do find ways to win or use the right lineup. They were exciting during Lavin's first year.

What's more amazing is that all those kids went on to play pro ball overseas and are doing well. Proud of all of them.
It was not surprising Steve Lavin took them to the NCAA tourney. I think they were the best team he had in his time at St. John's and they weren't even his players.
 
I'm going to have to start reading the rookie forum now daily too. Seems like we've got some great posters in here as well.

No question. Class of 72, great team and they have all gone overseas and made names for themselves. I also enjoy watching Overseas Elite with DJ, Horne, and Burrell. Great to see the chemistry and see them play.

I was also excited when Dunlap brought in Horne for training camp the year he coached the Bobcats.
 
Just learned from the main board that Mike Zaun got demoted.

Add another one to the bring back Mike Zaun camp!

I found myself often agreeing with him, yeah maybe he was a tad repetitive, but that's not a reason to demote someone!
