Worst half I have ever seen Soriano plsy not one rebound looks lost out there.

whatever effected him today, he has to focus and forget about that error-prone first half.
Maybe he felt he would easily out-muscle and dominate, missed the dunk and soon got the 3 second call.
then the inbound pass off his back, and then a blocked shot. He was in a daze. But there is no reason any of those are going to reoccur if he comes out with a strong mindset and plays as though this were a Big East foe.

I knew they would either be not up for this, or they would be told to make sure to be up for this, and would overcompensate. I think we saw a bit of both that half.

Soriano looked like he tried to make a point of staying out of foul trouble, that it resulted in soft D. Still, Rick sat him for too long, IMO. We were better as a team when he was out there.

Agreed. We always wonder if mid majors can play in the big East. How about an AA playing against a kid who sat the bench at Iona.

Lewis started us with energy. Soriano gets a couple of rebounds. Jenkins and Dingle made some shots. Suddenly, we look like St Johns again. Pitino made his points at halftime it would seem.
