Technically it's not banned, but most school districts don't allow it anymore. Considered a form of bullying. Very sad.

That's crazy. Nothing builds character like getting whaled by speeding ball to the chest of head in a competitive game of dodgeball ( we called it battle ball in grade school )

Weird, just yesterday that game popped into my head after 34 years of not thinking about it. We used a handball at Dutch Broadway in Elmont in the '70s/'80s.

True bullying is a horrible thing. The problem is that term "bullying" has been broadened to include things like one kid giving another kid a dirty look. The end result is seen in this generation of snowflakes. Good luck in the real world kids.

No idea if Rice will come on board or just rumor, but if it's still a legit consideration each day that passes is lost opportunity to gel with the staff & team...

Special assistants are able to work with players on individual skill development. I would imagine that is right in Mitch's wheelhouse.

Read the quotes from Josh Roberts' father. It's a tangible example where Mitch has made a difference. I wouldn't mind keeping him and adding an experienced assistant.
