Thank you Paul for this site. It has been a great place for information, meeting new friends, sharing victorious moments, commiserating losses, venting frustration, sharing love of the program, rehashing games and remembering important events in our lives not just involving the ball team but births, engagements and weddings.

To show you what an amazing place red men.com is I have communicated with Ted Raczok for twenty odd years, but we live on opposite ends of this great continent. This week he and his wife are coming to Montreal as it has been a life long dream of his to attend an Islanders game in Montreal, and they are playing here next Saturday afternoon. After the game Ted and I and our wives will be finally meeting and having dinner together. I can’t wait it feels like I am meeting a long lost family member.

I had the pleasure of meeting (and hanging out with) Ted and his wife when the Johnnies played in Charleston back in 2012. A cool dude! Y'all enjoy!
 
I've enjoyed reading this thread. The posts from members talking about themself in the third person are particularly amusing. Several of the members mentioned are still active with different handles. A few that were mentioned as being banned were actually never banned they just chose to stop posting or asked for permanent removal. This unfortunately coincided with various iterations of politics discussion. I've mentioned this before in different places but if anyone wants to merge their old account(s) with their current, just contact me and I can merge your accounts into one. This may be useful in connecting the dots or seeing some of your old history.

i will say tho in fairness to JR that Dink and Mike, tho I love yall, ain’t exactly shooting 100% from the field in saying who realfan is.

There was that iconic time when I was supposedly realfan cause I didn’t show up to these seats that paultzman was gracious enough to give me one time.

Also I recall Dink being absolutely sure JohnnyFan was realfan at one point. Granted I was never even around when realfan was on the site but he sure is infamous and I think Johnny Fan has always been a good and level headed poster

I can't always bat a thousand, lol. Guess what? My partner in crime, Maher, was on top of things and found out Johnnyfan was actually legit, so to speak.

One way or the other, we'll find out who's behind the pseudonym once we decide to do so.

Anyone who Dinkins disagrees with or has an issue with is Realfan to him. It’s become the standing joke on this site.
