Has thisnteam regressed?

wow, so many a$#hole "fans" on this board....its your own fault for expecting anything from this team this year...these boys play their hearts out every game....i love watching these guys play....i know they will play their butts off from tip to final horn...if you people can't understand that they are gunna suck for the most part this year due to lack of depth, size, youth...then go root for syracuse or some other"winners"....youre not fans, youre impatient little b!tche$ and when they do well next year and years to come I'm gunna bump these posts to show yourtrue colors

Now that's an obnoxious post. However, it is accurate.

Williams numbers were better as a junior. I believe you,re quoting his senior year numbers when he was hampered and ultimately went down with a knee injury

Seasons are full of ups and downs. Anybody think that Uconn would win the national championship after the first half of the Big East season? We're not playing well right now for a few games, and getting sloppy. We have to reel it in a bit for sure. These runs of bad play are commonplace in the game of basketball though, and even more prevalent with a team comprised of 6 freshmen.

I have not read all of the above posts but when I saw the title/caption I immediately thought "fatigue, fatigue, fatigue"! Thank the good fates that Garrett arrived and that the new Texas A&M guard is here ot practice but let's get real.

Five freshmen, a JC new to the college game and the brutal, big bad East teams - I am okay wiht watching talented young kids even if they lose and we all know there will be a lot of "L"s - would not surprice me if we win perhaps 1-3 more before the year's end. Maybe no more "W"s

They are terrific with what they have and under the circumstances the coaches and players found themselves in.

Imagine if this were Jarvis or Roberts trying to recruit 9 players? We'd have no "W"s and lousy losses and walkons playing serious minutes. We're like my buddy and fellow alumni George Armstrong Custer (recent documentary done well I thought) at Little Big Horn. Too few players of talent and a thin bench.

Agree?

Fatigue, fatigue, fatigue!

all the best

Impatient little bitches? Now thats an intelligent post. Try watching the games and then make a "rational" evaluation of what you observe.

IMO, rawdognyc's post is very rational and a lot more realistic than your whining.

Fatigue- Play Stith and Garret more and give our starters some rest so they dont get burned out. I am not saying to play walk ons.

Freshmen always hit the wall. More intense practices. Higher level of intensity during games. In our case 6 of them are hitting the wall all at once. Staff needs to keep their heads up and wait for the second wind.

We are short.

Short bench
Short front line
Short on experience
Short one head coach.

We have talent, but not enough to win consistently against top competition. rough season. Next year will be better. Enjoy the highs - there are more to come.
