players have 1 free transfer without penalty of "sitting".... he'll have plenty of options
 
I will not speculate on which of our other current players other than Soriano return but it is clear that Coach Pitino will be revamping the roster. The side of me that goes to the games and roots for success for all of our players, is sad that there will be departures.

That said, how does this logistically happen? If the Coach does not feel a player fits his program but the player is not interested in transferring what actually happens then? I am assuming that there will be a plan to keep certain players and facilitate transfers for the others but in the case of some like Kolby King, A.J. Storr and Omar Stanley they don't get the Covid-19 transfer exemption. For others like Jones or Curbelo they have already used their one time transfer and can not leave as easily.
 
I do not have a high bball IQ, but would Pitino have recruited anyone from the current roster? I just don't think so.

Its not that strange. Posh has been the heart and soul of the team for the last 3 years. He is a kid that as a human we all have an affection for within the program.
Can P bring in a better player? Yes.
Would most of us be sad to see Posh go? Yes.

I like Stanley alot. But the reason I think he might be out is because he can't contribute much on offense.
 
Honestly this years team played awful basketball we could blame a lot of it on CMA but it wasn’t all coaching. We are going to have a much better team going forward I won’t lose sleep over any of them Soriano was the only guy that needs to 100% be back and I also think Storr should be 2nd he has the talent and shooting ability to play for Pitino.
 
Just some thoughts...
Clayton coming makes more and more sense. Higher 3p%, with a high volume of shots. Only one close to him on this roster is Storr.
I could see Jones staying. I think his shot selection will be curtailed. I think he can be an asset offensively. I also think he will be coached not set loose and I do think he has the skills to succeed with some direction.

Yup. Pitino told us this by saying he needs kids that want to win and those kids are not on this roster. The suspensions, what Shanley saw at practice, no kids even paying attention to coach in the huddle etc. Sounds like the inmates we running the asylum.

Now these kids are going to pay for this behavior by finding out they are no longer wanted here.
 
WOW--inspirational. We now have a short Italian coach from Manhattan-difference from Louie is Rick can wear a suit while Louie loved his sweaters. Great stories about the BE and the other coaches getting Rick to ask Rollie for equal shares.

Love his relationship with Shanley and mention of the changes in Providence campus (under shanley).

We finally have an intelligent coach as he has a "PHD"-great explanation of type of player he is looking for and his daily practice schedule was interesting

Immediate transfers are allowed as long as you haven't transferred previously.
