This is starting to look like the team fron 2 years ago.

A good collection of players, who for whatever reason(s), doesn't mesh into a good team.

Rick has too much trust in Richmond, and not enough in Smith (not that he played well today, either). The people who were concerned about that combination working together are looking pretty smart, right now.

Wilcher may be a good kid, and a hard worker, but he looks marginally better than last year, at best. Not good enough.

This is what free agent BB is going to be about. Players coming in to learn a new Coach , system , conditioning , etc ,

Our 3 point shooting was worse than CYO.

The million dollar man looks like we paid too much so far
This game exposed some fundamental weaknesses and reset going to be necessary . At some point . Prior to BE Season .
But , they’d us time to right the ship.

Richmond 1-8, Smith 1-7, Wilcher 1-6, Dunlap 0-4….. we have depth alright. Why our quickest player on the floor,Smith was not out there at a time when a steal or turnover was needed is beyond me. Watching Brady 15 feet away from the guy who got the inbounds was bizarre.

Questionable rotation by Rick but he didn't go 2 - 19 from 3 or repeatedly bounce the ball off his foot. The players lost this game. Couldn't hold the ball and couldn't make a shot. I'm not ready to pull the shoot on the season. This is a good, if not great, team that just could not get into any rhythm today. It happens. Upsets happen. We've upset teams that were a million times better than us.

Defense looked strong, we rebounded well and made our foul shots. Sickening loss and terrible weekend to be a fan but we can't burn this team down because they lost on a prayer to a top 15 team and shit the bed a few days later.

We will turn it around. Learn from this game and move forward. This team is way ahead of last year. Things will shape up. This is a bump in the road. Will be sad when I don't see a number next our name on Monday but I think this team is good enough to get back into the top 25.

A shame that the highlight of this trip for St. John's basketball was the fans chanting for Zuby before the game on Friday night and not anything that actually happened on the court
