The decision makers at SJU seem to fail at everything involving men’s basketball. Why would anyone think a Geo vs SJU would be a draw to play at MSG.
It is almost always a battle along with DePaul for the last three slots in the big east. Geo didn’t win a big east game last year and to schedule it on a big NFL day just doesn’t make much sense but very little with the SJU program makes sense.

You do know we're at the whims of the schedule makers at MSG. We're about the 4th priority in their universe so we take what we can get. I assume the Big East plays some part as well.

I also noticed it says "tomorrow" in the graphics, even though game is on Sunday and they sent the email on Friday afternoon.

We are St. John's.

Evidently I’ve been told during a time at the Nova game at MSG, they put up an advertisement saying our next game was on Saturday, November 29th.

For the most park, with the exception of Villanova last week (and I still think they're a bit better than their record indicates), Anderson's teams have done a good job taking care of business at home, against teams they should beat. This is a team we should beat, though if Posh doesn't play, it will be tougher.

How can you say that Anderson’s team has done a good job then say without one player, who has played poorly all season, the team may struggle against a team that is 1-29 in its last 30 Big East games?

If this was last year then I'd agree, but this year Posh isn't any better then Curbelo.

Perhaps not, but Posh at least attempts to play defense and look like he wants to compete. Did you hear Lappis (sp?) talking about how bad Curbelo’s defense was last game? Curbelo is a chemistry killer. I hate the expression “addition by subtraction,” but I won’t give any poster a hard time if Curbelo doesn’t return next year and that phrase is used.

That’s pretty tough. Kid had a very good first two years. He’s struggled mightily this year but still leading the Big East in steals. Wouldn’t surprise me if he’s been playing hurt for a while.
