Gonna have to speed up the tempo against Xavier. Providence, DePaul and Xavier are nearly carbon-copy teams. They're big teams, but they all have problems shooting the ball and prone to turning it over (particularly, Xavier and DePaul when it comes to turnovers).

We continue to let these teams dictate tempo and play their style of ball. You gotta make 'em uncomfortable. Ponds also will be needed to contribute. Otherwise, we're likely on our way to losing this game.
Thank you Dink, my sentiments exactly!!

First five minutes of second half will tell - get it within 3-4 and we will be fine . Trimble should get his fill of open threes with D Xavier is playing. I would play Trimble, Roberts, Ponds, Figgy & Clark together some. When Simon plays we should press the hell out of them, need to make them uncomfortable and run. Bottom line, we need at least 15 points from Shamorie in 2nd half to have a shot.

Freshmen playing out of necessity since our starters are not getting it done. Three airballs? Did these guys have meatloaf for dinner? Roberts is very active. Shamorie always seems hurt when playing poorly.

Repole invited him to be his guest at Saratoga

I agree and it's very frustrating to watch.
Is there a reason Simon refuses to pass on the fast break? Nonetheless, good little spurt.
Because he doesn't know what to do with the ball.

Pretty sure he's not confident with his handle.
