Yes, Rider is shooting well, but they are getting wide open shots. Also, we are not turning them over and our huge rebounding edge in first half is shrinking. We can very easily lose this game unless we show a lot more effort.

We just aren’t playing hard. We need to be balls to the wall. Defense and rebounding are effort, we are simply soft and “Iron Mike” needs to iron them out of them ASAP.

This team is showing its inexperience. The JUCOS are playing like.... junior college players. They need a lot more playing time before they're ready to contribute much against BE teams..

It's going to be another up and down season for the Johnnie's.
But Rider has 12 new players
That makes the Johnnie's performance even worse.

A few cut outs fell asleep, same as usual :)
Wait until UConn gets us it will not be pretty
It’s not like that. It’s all OUR effort. Rider isn’t very good. We need to turn it up and we are capable of it.
Enough with the newbies. They arent ready. Get the ball to the Duke!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Return of Earlington??

No mystery to playing St. John's. Make it a half court game. There are no words to describe how far St. John's is from a Big East level team in a half court game. Stony Brook showed that. Every coach will make them play defense for the entire shot clock, as somewhere along the line the defense will break down On the offensive end, spacing is poor, effective ball movement is lacking, and the ability to finish is at times comical. In truth, a loss to Rider is the type of medicine the entire roster, and coaching staff needs.

The team will improve. Whether they will improve enough to make it matter is hard to say.

I will also say, it’s time for Posh to just sit back and pass. He’s a great scorer and he’s trying to be that lead guard, but he also has to be a threat to score and he is. He’s gotta lead this team both ways.

And those who complain about Dunn are wrong. He’d help tonight.
