Rider has played well. Not everything is about us. Opponent is hitting tough shots, we are missing easy looks. That simple
I can agree with you there. But I will say those mass substitutions can be momentum killers and even allow an inferior opponent to gain confidence.

I understand what Anderson is trying to accomplish per the mass subs, but you can't have 4 or 5 subs all on the floor at once. It's not a recipe for success IMO.

For 4 minutes our lineup on the was our 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, and 11th best scoring options. Absolutely nuts. Why you would ever do that in the first half is beyond me.

Well that was ugly. If Coach uses entire lineup in BE, we will not win many games. There's depth, but end of bench does not have much quality.

The subbing is bad for sure. It nearly cost us the BC game. I don’t like it. However I think some are making it sound like our starters were about to run them off the floor before the lineup switch. I just don’t think that was the case. It was a close game before and after the subs

In my opinion, but for spirts of the BC game, we’ve looked like a bottom-tiered Big East team the whole year. Not sure where all the optimism comes from about the program turning the corner.
Shocking
The epitome of optimism.

We now see why "depth" is not what it's meant out to be. It's good as insurance and a quick breather, but we clearly have the best 5 guys figured out. We need to play them most of the time.

Cole got hot towards the end of the half. Id like to see him continue that in the second half.

I thought the Duke gave us good minutes. He played under control and did the little things. Id give him more pt in this 2nd half.

Momentum was clearly with us. You could feel we were about to break it open.

Let’s see how many Big East games will we win%?
Every game our defense guarding the wide open 3 is non existentstill do not see any organization. Double teaming leads to wide open shots because can’t get back the the person we left to double the ball
If we are behind against a we were suppose to roll over ,we are in big trouble when conference play starts.Do not see all of a sudden we are going to be a different teams
Even if they come back and I hope they do we have big problems
Giving coach a D this first half

Cole 9pnts, 6boards, 1sgl, 1blck
Champ 6pnts, 4rebs, 1lstl, 2blcks
Posh 4pnts, 4dimes, 1stl

Points in the paint 20-6 sju
2nd chance points 10-0 sju
Pnts off tufnovers 8-7 rider
They are 5-13 from 3 for 38%

Guess we were watching a different game. I felt that way when we went up 9-2. But then rider countered and outscored our starters 9-6 over the next couple of minutes. Didn’t exactly feel like we were about to break it open IMO

actually it was 15 to 11 SJU when Cnampagne went out as the final starter.
around 12:30 left in half.
19 to 17 Rider when the announcer said the starters are coming back in...it was Champs and Posh after 4 minutes of playtime torture.
quitea time.

This team is showing its inexperience. The JUCOS are playing like.... junior college players. They need a lot more playing time before they're ready to contribute much against BE teams..

It's going to be another up and down season for the Johnnie's.

We’ll win, but not the point. We can’t use the hockey line change a sub approach when some guys can’t skate. Integrate a couple at a time with some core strength remaining
