Niwye has to be the surprise of the season.  He looks like a legitimate skilled big right now who can do it all.
could u please tell coach Anderson that?

Posh cannot have this type of game in big games like this.  Our best players seem to struggle in these big games.

0-4 from the field for the half??

We are very lucky to be this close. Getting completely outplayed and our best players coming up very small. Looks like MainMan may have been right.

Gives us hope if we play well 2nd half.

Wusu, Mathis & Posh need to get all the guard minutes in second half. Coburn & Smith not adding anything tonight.

Let’s please not get carried away.  Stanley looked all world for a half against Creighton.  Nyiwe has improved, but he still has a long way to go.

Oh gosh no.  The dreaded Posh, Wusu and Mathis lineup?????????????????

Lewis is very good but 17 pts in a half is unacceptable, but then again so often guys have career nights against us. Defensive adjustment on Lewis hopefully?

Inagree on Wusu, Posh, and Mathis. Still, uniess we get Champagnie taking confident shots in rythmn (and not after waiting and deliberating with the ball  whether he wants to shoot) we arent going amywhere tonight or in the tourny.

How many consecutive threes has Champagnie missed?  Must be at least eight.  He’s really struggling from outside this year

I don’t think we got a stop the whole time Pinzon was in.  And I like him but that makes it pretty easy to see why coach doesn’t go to him as much as some would like.
What did Mathis letting his guy go right by him have anything to do w/ Pinzon?

Nothing but there was legitimately a 3-4 minute stretch where Pinzon got beat at the top of the point leading to buckets on multiple consecutive possessions. And coburn when he was back in was the culprit himself twice. There is so much more to playing than shots going in or not. That’s why this half by wusu isn’t some incredible performance to me. Shots just went in, otherwise he was mostly the same player he has been.

I disagree Mase. Shots go in you score points and you win , shots don’t go in you lose. It’s a pretty simple game. If you don’t score you don’t win.

So if/when we lose this game we will be 0-9 against the five teams that get byes in the BET. No way to spin this season other then a major disappointment. Please play well in the second half.

If he was given some legit playing time instead of 4 minute intervals, I think you would see allot more from him.

i saw no sju set offensive plays in the first 13 minutes. after that point  i counted maybe 3 plays that could pass as planned offensive sets.

What happened to the Coburn from a few days ago, his defense has been terrible.  I was rooting for him this game thinking he turned the corner on that end, but if his offense is off he seems to not give much effort defensively.  He's fouled a 3 point shooter and been late rotating on shooters a few times.  He's gotta give more effort than that.

Recognizing the hot hand has not been a weakness all season long by the staff/players.

How about those screens?
I have no idea what you're talking about there, they've ran the double screen on the baseline for Julian and Coburn at least 5 times this half.

We have to play better defense if we are going to win this game.  Period.

I think our offense starts with better spacing.
