I feel good at the half. Georgetown isn't a very deep team and I think eventually this pace will tire them out. Don't expect them to shoot as well from the outside in the second half either.

Gtown out scored us 14-9 last 6:30 once posh came out. Think he played a much better first half than he has been. He’s Gotta stay aggressive on offense. Gonna need Cole or Williams to step up and score this next half.
How are we allowing Georgetown to shoot 60% from the field and 50% from 3? Just embarrassing.
Because more times than not we're trailing the play.

He’s got the lowest bball iq on the team. And Maybe close to the most talent
Dunn had got to make his layups. I can hear dink from here.
Dunn 0-5

I don’t feel good being down at the half to the team picked ti finished last in the Big East. Dunn has missed some absolute bunnies and Cole continues not to look like a Big East player.
I really think we'd be better served playing straight up defense instead of this pressure. Use the pressure to surprise. Teams are figuring us out.
Why exactly are we playing pressure defense? I could see if teams were held in the 20s or even low 30s but shu got 78 and so far g-town has 42, it seems useless.

Here's the good news. No turnovers from Posh, Dunn or Williams, we're winning the boards and Gtown shooting almost 60% the field, 55% from 3 and we are only down 2. Nice game for the Duke, nothing from my guy Cole, he needs to step up. This game is ours for the taking; if we don't take it, it's going to be an unbearably long season...

A lot of posters say that, but then it doesn't work out that way.

At the half:

Champy - his usual solid self. On his way to a 20 point game.

Duke- Proving a huge spark on both ends of the floor. he needs to be in the game the majority of the second half.

Toro- gave us his 1st solid minutes of the year

Gwill- if he only had dunn's mentality.

Cole- struggling big time. Having a hard time getting shots off, missing free throws etc.

2nd half- rely on the vets this 2nd half. We need a win and the vets have the best chemisrty playing together.

Really getting tired of his game. Only looks to shoot. Doesn't rebound and plays awful defense.

If it does what it’s supposed to it’s biggest effect should be in the second half.

Posh much more aggressive this game, they may have sat him too long in GT 9-0 run.

Thought Toro gave us some good minutes. Earlington played well. I’m not worried about Dunn. He’ll finish those as he gets back into game shape. We miss having a serviceable big and an athletic wing. Just so disappointed in Cole. People were saying he’d be better than Figueroa.
