I think we played rather poorly and we are still up 4 points on a pretty solid team. I don’t know what that tells you.

We better finish them off next time we get up 10 points. Have to learn that lesson.

DePaul may beat us but I don’t agree they’re “pretty solid.”  I don’t think DePaul will win more than six Big East games this year.

DePaul had a good non-conference.  They've been down some players in conference play, I don't think they are a NCAA tournament team this year, but I think above .500 overall and NIT bid is realistic for them.  They aren't a bad team by any means, Freeman-Liberty can score with anyone in the country.

Barely ahead and we shot 67% from three while DePaul shot 26% from three. Not a very encouraging sign at all as we can’t maintain that shooting percentage and DePaul should improve on theirs. Sorry but this is a must win for us. Have to play smart this half and make the most of every opportunity.

Despite our erratic play at times in that half, there is no doubt we are a better team.
I do wonder… how much better?
Can we get to that Seton, UCONN, Villanova, Creighton level?
We need more development from several players VERY fast.

Posh started ramping it up at the end of the half. Let's get a big 2nd half from Posh and Champ, and take home a W.
Good call on Posh ramping up.

God, I hate to say this but Wheeler is terrible. Soriano is having a game though, it’s nice to see.

Wusu is having one-off his worst games .

An off game and not helping us is one thing, but he's really hurting us with his forcing on offense, over and over. Very out of character for him.

Anyone heard anything about Steph Smith. Didnt see him on the bench.

Zach said he was available on Twitter.  Strange

2 possibilities,

1. He's one of the guys that had covid and still recovering. And not quite back in shape yet.

2. CMA is simply cutting his rotation for conference play.  Staff has to be aware with the non-conference schedule they had and losing to Pitt, there's very little room for error, and losing at DePaul at home would be a bad loss, it would be Q3.  It's going to take 11 or 12 conference wins to make the tournament.

If there’s little room for error then why is Wusu still in this game??? He’s absolutely killing us tonight with his matador type play!!

Why take Suriano out?????

Hes winded.  Can’t play big minutes.  We are such an undisciplined team.  Wheeler is my least favorite player.  Ugh

he is  not winded. he was playing real well!!!! I think just think sticking with a bad substitution pattern.

How do we play well for couple of minutes and then play like crap the next couple of minutes? We are so inconsistent!

Mathis is hardly distinguishing himself either. No effort on the air ball after the stupid foul and turnover.
