That was the BYU game and the Georgetown game and this one. They are close, but they can't quite get over the hump. Always just off on the shot they need, don't get the stop they have to have, make a mistake or do something unnecessary just when they don't have to.
I think it will pull together later in the season, but right now they just are not quite there.
It helps when you have a lineup out there that has experience together like Greg-Dunn-Champ-Marcellus.

Wusu, Moore, Toro, Marcellus: productive, within their limits.

Champagne or Duke or Earlington need to hit the big shot when we are closing that gap or trying for the lead...our guards and centers are less likely to make the outside shot, we need the forwards to make those open field goal shots. That block on Cole was well done but he did take forever to get it off once it was clear he was shooting.
