He has played good defense and is our best bet at keeping guys in front of him. Havnt tracked it like you have this game but I believe you. What I have seen is Creighton completely ignoring him on offense and making it very difficult for the rest of our guys. In the half court he is a tough fit offensively.
 
Champagne is not going to be Big East anything if he doesn't begin to play defense.
Anyone can have a poor shooting night but we need him to be alert on both ends of the court.

Would love to see SJUs fg% inside 10 ft vs opponents. We are loosing the “chippie” battle big time again this year
 
This isn’t the game we wanted to be a “must win”. Needed to grab at least one of first 2. Creighton is very talented.

We go on a nice run and cut it to a 1 possession game......we have the ball with the chance to take the lead and/or tie and all the momentum. We pass it one time and Earlington tries to be a hero and turns it over. 2 minutes later we are down 10.

You can 100% put the blame on Earlington for that.
 
Games like this make me wish my cardboard cut out was watching, instead of me.
 
Not a promising look for Cole. We need to score to beat creighton and CMA hasn’t looked at him all half. It’s not like other guys are lighting it up either.

It's true, they are a nicely balanced team. And even when they aren't playing well, they aren't out of control.

As a basketball game, I love to watch them. They play the game the right way, especially for us old guys.
