Strong close to the first half, punishment awaits Butler in the second half.
Yeah I'm leaning towards a second half beating

Not saying the refs are biased but they went up into the stands to sit with their friends and families.  /media/kunena/emoticons/smile.png

Good finish to half, Posh will be rested and we avoided anyone picking up third foul. Love the way these guys react when opponent makes a run!

Bench has really developed with guys like Dylan, Moore & Marcellus producing. Would like to see Greg get a few buckets and get back in sync post lay-off

Coach did the right thing taking Posh out and having him sit out the half.
We couldn't afford the risk since we had a decent lead at the time.
Even if letting them come back was the price, he needs to be on the court a lot in the second half.
The Ref call on him was poor and it really did alter the dynamic of the game after he left.

Tightly called game, even an evenly called one, never benefits us. You could see the kids backing off just a little down low out of concern for foul being called.

At this rate the refs are going to call a technical on Ralph for cursing at the tv

that was a game where Coach showing enough anger on the foul call disparity...and even getting a technical if it came after the blocking foul on Posh...or the lack of a call on Butler here or there...might be needed.
He rarely shows overt anger with the refs and that's great....but once in awhile............... might help with balance..

Refs single handily kept Butler in this game, was starting to pull away then every little touch foul they called against St.John's.  It's funny how the team that's aggressive, attacking the rim, and going for all the dunks, had only been fouled 3 times with 4 minutes to go in the half, and the team that's playing the slower pace and throwing up out of control shots, draws 10 fouls.

And this is the first game this year I've watched where I've questioned the officiating and it just happens to be the same game where fans are allowed, I don't think that's a conicidence.

If ever a game this season for Anderson to ride the refs like Mullin used to, this would be my choice.

We got to come out of the locker room focused. Had a nice lead at the half @ Marq, and PC, both made runs to start the 2nd half.
Butler made their run before the half.
Focus, Focus, Focus

If the officiating continues to be this poor, I'm all for Iron Mike getting T'd up too. It would be hard for them to T him up, then continue to make these calls.

I know I'm beating a dead horse but this team truly has no idea at all how to defend the paint. We can't match up agaist a legit big because we don't have the personnel, ok fine I can live with that.  But there is just no understanding at all about how to play post defense, rotate, help, box out.   So now we are getting killed by interior passes backdoor cuts by a lummox, and offensive rebounds.

Fortunately Butler can't shoot at all (unless the Harris kid gets hot) and we make up for it in other areas of the game.  But it's really frustrating to watch.  No personnel is one thing, but no clue is another thing entirely.

This keeps up I'm all for Mike hitting them with an Iron fist

We need to tighten up the on ball defense and rebound (box out) this half and this one is ours.
