Since you asked and this is my area of expertise, nicest form on this team is probably Soriano. Doesn’t elevate on his jumper but the form is nice. Ledlum might be number 2.

I know some will disagree but Pitino better consider finding another PG for next year. Even against a team like Fordham Wilcher adds nothing and gets beat defensively. May he develop eventually, perhaps, but unless there is almost a miraculous improvement by next year, he will not be ready to lead a Big East team projected to be in the top half of the league. May he help in the future, perhaps but nothing at this point tells me as such.

So all the arm chair box score fans knock Conway for a couple of missed shots when he almost single-handedly picked the team up with tremendous defense, TEAM defense, and hustle. This after a week of legit non-stop criticism of the BC D!! IMO just comical…..
Take this to the bank, he will be seeing a LOT of minutes if that keeps

Kudos to Conway for the uplifting performance against a 5-5 fordham.

Our defense has held the last few mid major teams we have played to under 40% shooting, this isn’t new.

We don’t struggle to get stops against weak opponents. We struggle to get stops against real high major D1 athletes/scorers

if Conway “changes a game defensively” in Big East play, I’ll be actually impressed

Soriano is also a great example why we shouldn't necessarily dismiss guys from the mid-major level as transfers. Easy to forget he was a Ram

Take that back number one is Cruz Davis.
Not best shooter just nicest looking. Forgot about him.

Alleyne and Taylor both need to play more.
Conway plays hard but his PT coming at expense of more talented guys.

Not ugly but kind of shoots a knuckle ball. Tim Hardaway kind of. He is our best shooter probably or at least should be. Davis shot looks nicer.
